Can we meet up before we book you?
Yes, lets meet up for some tea/wine/beer to chat about your day, and what you expect from your wedding photography. This is a good time for us to get to know each other .
Will you visit the venue before the big day?
If it’s in London I will. For venues outside of London, I will always get to the venue earlier – either on the day before the wedding or on the day itself – to have a recce.
What do you cost?
My wedding packages start from £750, and reflect the hours you need. Drop me an email and I’ll send you over my price list.
Do you do engagement shoots?
I do – engagement shoots tend to last for two hours, and would take place in a location of your choice.
How far will you travel?
If your wedding is in London I won’t charge anything for my travel. If it’s further afield I would need to cover my fuel costs.
When do you start shooting?
This is up to you. I can shoot the bride getting ready, or alternatively can shoot the groom’s lunch or go to the church to get the guests arriving.
How many photographs will you take?
The final number of images taken on the day varies, usually over 800 photos.
What if you are ill on the day?
I have been shooting for 11 years, and have never missed a wedding. I would have to be admitted to hospital for me not to be there on your big day!
Are you insured?
Yes, I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Do we have to feed you?
No you don’t, but if you do it is very much appreciated. If you can’t, just let me know and I’ll bring a lunchbox.
Can we have two photographers?
I regularly work alongside other wedding photographers. If your wedding is large, or you feel you would like another pair of eyes, this can be arranged.
How long do we have to wait for the photographs?
Two to four weeks after the wedding. I know what it’s like – after the honeymoon you can’t wait!
Can you make us an album?
I can, my albums start from £500, and you get to choose the images. We can start on it as soon as you get your pictures. I use Folio Albums, who are a small specialised company who make beautiful handcrafted albums. Alternatively I can offer a cheaper hardback book option.
How many photographs will we eventually see?
Usually I give the bride and groom a minimum of 300 images.
Who owns the copyright of the photographs?
Under UK law, specifically the The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, it is the photographer who will own copyright on any photos he/she has taken. I would never use your images without your consent.
Can we really do whatever we want with the images?
Yes, so feel free to print them, share them with family, upload them to Facebook.
What happens after the wedding?
I will edit your images, then burn them to DVD and send them to you. After you have a look at them and are happy, I’ll put them in an online gallery so you can send the link to your friends and family. You can also order top quality prints in a variety of sizes.
Drop me a line and tell me about your plans, and I will send you all the pricing information and more details about me and my approach. I would love to hear from you.
